George Ory had a hole-in-one February 12, 2018 on hole 13 at Oak Lakes in Clinton, LA.
He used a 6 Iron on the 144 yard par 3 hole.
Witnesses to his great achievement were Robert J. Achee and Jackie Achee.
My friend (Bobby Achee) and his wife (Jackie Achee) were tired of the cabin fever of January and it was the best day sofa this year so we drove up to Clinton to play at Oaks Lakes Golf course. It is a privately own 9 hole course but it has character. We had played the front nine and you could tell we had some winter rust, but we were warming up and finished the front on the up swing. We started the back and were making pars. Jackie is a very good female player. She plays from the mens tees. We had just finished #12 (which Jackie birdied). Jackie had the honors on the #13 par 3. It was playing 144 yes but into a two club wind, so she pulled her 5 hybrid and hit a solid shot. It looked good from the very start. When it landed on the green it was tracking straight for the hole. I saw it suddenly disappear and said I think it went the hole but she said she thinks it ran to the back of the green where you you would not be able to see it. So I was up next and pull out a six iron. I did not it hit in the sweet spot but it tracking towards the green. It bounced about 10 yards from the front of the green and hopped on and was headed towards the flag also. We drove up to the green and as we were walking to the hole we could not see any balls on the green. We both walked towards the back of the green and still no balls, Jackie walked to the hole and screamed \"my balls in the hole, I made a hole in one\". I was really confused till she said but there's another ball in the hole. It was mine - we made back to back hole in ones. .
