Randy Ramos had a hole-in-one August 14, 2019 on hole 4 at Blue Rock Springs West Course in Vallejo, CA.
He used a Driver on the 257 yard par 4 hole.
Witnesses to his great achievement were Chad Hardesty , Joe Griego and Brian Klatt.
This was a best ball tournament hosted by Benicia Rotary & Native Sons of the Golden West. Hole # 4 is an elevated tee box, 257 yards from the whites. Lagoon on the right, trees on the left creek at 200 yards across the front of the green. My buddy Chad said to me are we going to lay up? I looked at Chad and responded \" i didn't come here to lay up\". I reached in my bag and grabbed my Taylor Made R-15 went to the tee box teed it up and let it rip. We couldnt tell if it had gone in or not, but we new it had hit the green. I knew it was a good shot but i assumed it had hit the green and rolled off of the back of the green. when i approached the green i went around and could not find my ball in the back so i looked in the traps around the green and nothing. so than i looked at the flag and about a foot away was a big ole ball mark. i approached the flag and sure enough there it was right in the cup. i turned and raised my arms to the foursome on the tee box who were waiting to see the outcome and everyone began to cheer. .
