Lynn Lake had a hole-in-one September 14, 2020 on hole 2 at The Glades Palmetto in Naples, FL.
She used a Driver on the 128 yard par 3 holes.
Witnesses to her great achievement were Playing in Ladies League with strangers and The Glades Country Club has names.
I joined as a new member of the Ladies League at The Glades Golf and Country Club in Naples, Florida. I was playing with complete strangers. Iíd only been playing 2-3 times a week since January 2020. I was on hole 2 and the pin was at the back of the green. I shortened up on my driver and had a nice straight shot. I honestly thought the ball had gone in the pond behind the green. There are dangerous predators in there So I thought the ball was a goner. I was helping one of the other ladies find her ball, and one of the other girls walked up behind the green to see if the ball went just shy of water. Nope. Then she went to the pin and asked me what kind of ball I was using. There it was in all its glory. I couldnít believe it! After our game, these ladies all came back to the pro shop with me to record their names, hole number, etc. So The Glades have all their names. Happy St. Patrickís Day to me! With Covid 19 now in effect, I had to return to Canada where I had another hole in one in June. Iíll record that one next. I can honestly say that these 2 hole in ones have been the only good luck Iíve had this year!.
