Michael Flori had a hole-in-one June 23, 2021 on hole 16 at Melody Hills Golf Course in North Scituate, RI.
He used a Driver on the 340 yard par 4 hole.
Witness to his great achievement was Cole Dottor.
I was golfing with my friend Cole on Saturday the 19th of June 2021. It was my first time playing the back nine of Melody Hills Golf Course in Rhode Island. I saw on the sign next to the tee box that the hole was a dog leg right about 340 yards. I hit a perfect drive with a fade that played right in the middle of the fairway and played to the curvature of the fairway. My friend hit his drive and we took the cart to find our balls, he hit his second shot, while I searched for my tee shot. But it was nowhere to be found...I didn't understand how this had happened when I hit such a great shot. But nonetheless I dropped a second ball and began playing that. I hit it next to the green and as I was about to hit my 3rd shot with this 2nd dropped ball, Cole was walking on the green and stopped at the hole and said \"There's a ball in here\". I didn't think much of it but asked what kind of ball it was. He said it was a Titleist. \"A ProV1?\" I asked. Yes it was..I quickly ran over to confirm if it had my markings on it along with the picture of a lighthouse and the words \"Cohasset Golf Club\" printed on its side. It was my ball. I couldn't believe it. It took me until the 18th hole to fully realize what just happened. But yes, I got a hole in one on a par 4. .
